Thank you for thinking of 9th Avenue Waterside for your wedding.

We have a couple options for you.

If you require the entire restaurant exclusively – This includes the downstairs dining room, outside deck area and upstairs cocktail lounge the cost is R30 000 venue hire. We can seat a total of 107 guests, there is space to increase the venue to 120 guests however you will need to hire tables and chairs.

Our venue hire for the entire downstairs is R20 000. Inside seats a maximum of 70 guests and our deck 40 in good weather conditions/24 in bad weather conditions. However we do not allow bands or DJ’s unless you hire the entire restaurant.

If you require the venue before 3pm on the day of the wedding, this means we have to close for Saturday lunch service. To close our Saturday lunch for your wedding the cost is R30 000. Depending on how much décor and set up you have you may also be liable for Sunday lunch service cost or the cost of a breakdown crew the night of your wedding. This we can discuss when we meet. The cost of moving and storing furniture overnight is approximately R6000

Due to many people living on boats in the Yacht Mole, we need to switch off music and stop serving alcohol at 12pm – no exceptions. Please note we do not allow BYO on any functions.

I have attached our most popular set menu. We can add Halaal options or more vegetarian options if needed.

If you wish to book a deposit of the venue hire is used to secure the venue. This is due on booking of the venue and is not refundable within 1 month before the date of the function.  The food and beverage budget is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding. Please send us the proof of payment and use your name as a reference.
